Chief Executive Officer
With more than 13 years of corporate and government experience, Michael J. Moniz, co-founder, president, and CEO, has led the Circadence since 1999. He was also vice president of Online Network Enterprises, Inc. from 1995 until its merger with VR•1. Under Mr. Moniz's direction, VR•1 changed its name to Circadence and focused on both the online entertainment market and the development of solutions for bandwidth-constrained services over the Internet.
Chief Operating Officer
Christopher T. Blisard currently serves as COO, bringing more than 20 years of operational, business development, and leadership experience to this position he has held since 1999.
Mr. Blisard has been fundamental in creating a number of strategic partnerships for Circadence with prominent industry leaders such as Hewlett-Packard, Accenture, Dell, CSK Ventures (Hitachi), Microsoft, Deutsche Telekom, Global Crossing, and Pacific Century CyberWorks Japan (PCCWJ).Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Peter-Christian Olivo has served as Circadence’s executive vice president and general counsel since 2000. In this role, Mr. Olivo is responsible for all legal and regulatory matters for Circadence, and has played an integral role in several high-profile transactions for the company, including the sale of its VR•1 online game division to Pacific Century CyberWorks Japan (PCCWJ) for $48 million in stock and cash in 2001, and a $100 million debt and equity transaction with Hewlett-Packard Company in 2000.
VP of Finance
Todd L. Kannegieter brings 24 years of finance and accounting experience to Circadence. Mr. Kannegieter’s experience includes private equity placements and debt issuances for start-up telecommunications and Internet services companies, strategic and financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and managing finance and accounting activities for both domestic and international businesses in the telecommunications and Internet services sectors.
Chief Technology Officer
Robert J. Shaughnessy brings more than 20 years of experience to Circadence as a technology executive, consultant, and practitioner in both the private sector and U.S. government. As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Shaughnessy's responsibilities include the Company’s Engineering and Development operations, strategic business development efforts, partnerships, and overall technical product strategy. Mr. Shaughnessy is a lifetime member of both the Association of the U.S. Army and IEEE, and is active in regional and national efforts to promote entrepreneurship and provide access to technology across economic and geographic boundaries.
VP of Government Relations and Mississippi Operations
R. Bradley Prewitt is vice president of government relations and Mississippi operations for Circadence, and brings 15 years of experience as a self-employed attorney, business consultant, government relations specialist, and entrepreneur based in Tupelo, Mississippi. Mr. Prewitt founded the Prewitt Group in 2002 to assist a diverse, national corporate and institutional client base secure greater market share and better branding; build stronger and more dynamic governmental, corporate, and financial alliances; and achieve more practical, expeditious, and successful legal solutions.
